There’s a change a comin’ . . .

After much soul-searching and prayer, I have decided to change things up a bit on my blog.  I feel like I have been leading a double life – a Christian life and a politically correct life.  I have read and heard from so many direct sales coaches  not to discuss religion when you are in a direct sales so that you do not offend anyone.  Well, trying to live like this has been offense to me and I am not going to do it anymore.  Here are the facts – I am a Christian, I am an independent consultant for a Christian direct sales company, and the Bible tells me to let my little light shine.  So, guess what? I am going to let my little light shine!

I want to be able to live out my Christian life through my blog.  If I am able to make a difference in someone’s  life by doing so, then I am going to do it.  The Bible tells me in Mark 8:38, “ If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”   I don’t want Jesus to be ashamed of me.  I want to go to my Heavenly home when the time comes – Hell is not a place I want to spend eternity.

So, some of the changes you are going to see are more posts with references to the Bible, God and Jesus.  I hope you are okay with that.  I don’t want to offend others – I want to love others as Jesus has loved us.  Less giveaways – I have been headed in that direction already.  They are very time consuming and I don’t want to “buy” my readers loyalty, I want to “earn” it.  I am not going to stop giveaways all together.  Like you, I enjoy winning free stuff!

God has given me this huge desire to connect with women.  I want to help others, learn from others, and grow with others.  So, I hope you will continue with me and see what plans God has for all of us!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11

In Him,

Thank you! I am not sure if it is guts I am using or if I am just fed up with the world view . . . whatever it is, I know I cannot deny Jesus just for the sake of a sale or a new blog reader or the loss of followers. This is the REAL me that everyone will be seeing from now on. :)
